Team Savvy gathered with advertising collogues at the 33rd Annual Outstanding Achievement in Media Awards presented by the Media Association of Pittsburgh. It was nice to celebrate, and catch up, with industry friends in person this year. The National Aviary was a beautiful location, and the weather was perfect to watch MAP honor so many well-deserving recipients in the industry.
Among those being recognized was our own amazing Media Director, Anita Miller, who received The Art Stein Memorial Award. “Given to those who have made notable contributions in furthering the goals and objectives of the Club,” and we can’t think of a better recipient. We are very proud of Anita, and grateful to have her on Team Savvy.
Our late Co-Founder, Susan Broome, was also celebrated last night, by posthumously receiving the Thomas J. MacWilliams Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the industry. Savvy CEO, Kimberly Loszewski, delivered a lovely tribute to her that reminded everyone how much Susan meant us, this industry, and was a moving reminder that life is precious.
Susan loved this industry, the people involved with it, and she loved a good celebration, so we know that she was looking down on us, beaming with pride, as we honored her legacy and recognized her achievements surrounded by her family and peers.
Congratulations to everyone who was honored last night, and we’re looking forward to seeing you again next year.
